Ficep participated to the three seminars hold by TEKLA in Beijing (29/08), Guangzhou (31/08) and Shanghai (3/09).
The occasion was to introduce to the Chinese customers the feature of FICEP SCRIBING, a special solution only available on FICEP machines that allows to import a whole project directly from the detailing software TEKLA STRUCTURE and draw (or scribe) directly on the profiles or plates all the necessary connections between components (such as gusset plates, stiffeners etc...).

This feature, already implemented worldwide since 2005, is proven to shorten the overall time of drilling, sawing and tracing to 1/3 of the time necessary to perform the tracing operation manually.

Additionally, being the scribing operation controlled by the CNC, it saves additional costs of reworking due to errors of the operators.
